At Coho we share in the collective grief, anger, frustration, helplessness and sadness over the deaths of George Floyd, Breonna Taylor, Ahmaud Arbery, and countless others. Over the past 2 months, many Cohoots have attended rallies and marches for the Black Lives Matter movement. We have hosted informal and formal sharing circles about racism and have a small on-going study group working with the book Me and White Supremacy. The marches, rallies, and Coho activities provide a sense of unity with all humans who are suffering from systemic racism. They also give us a sense of shared purpose in working together to become better community members and global citizens.
