CoHo kids displayed their musical talents and fund-raising prowess at the Saturday Farmer’s Market a few weeks ago.
A sunny day and festive music attracted a crowd at the Farmer’s Market.
Marimba lessons paid off in a high-energy, synchopated performance. The beneficiary of this talented troupe was A Home In Community (www.ahomeincommunity.org) which rents a unit at CoHo at subsidized rates to a low-income individual with physical disabilities.
Heartland Humane Society has also received donations from CoHo kids. Many of them are “animal magnets” who give CoHo’s critters (including an ever-changing array of foster kittens) lots of attention.
