Since the first “ooch” in January, CoHoots have used this strategy in several venues. “Ooch” is a blend of “inch” and “scoot” and is a temporary trial to gain experience and solicit input on a possible change.
A temporary path featured an arch in one location. With this ooch, an arch-like structure (which is itself an “ooch” of a more elaborate arch yet to be designed) was moved a few feet closer to the street.
Here’s the BEFORE photo….
…and the AFTER photo…
…and the in-between tweaking photos.
The entire transformation took less than an hour. The speed can be attributed to the decisiveness of the team AND the 90 degree weather.
